StayWithMe is a voice companion for meditation and relaxation. This page says plainly what it is, what it isn't, and what you agree to by using it.

StayWithMe is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor, therapist, or other qualified professional. The voice you hear is generated by an AI language model. It is company for a practice, not advice.

Not for emergencies

If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or have a medical emergency, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away. findahelpline.com lists free, confidential lines by country. StayWithMe cannot summon help for you.

When not to use it

Never while driving, cycling, operating machinery, swimming, or doing anything that needs your full attention. Every session asks you to close your eyes.
The guided journeys use relaxation and hypnotic-style language. If you have epilepsy, a psychotic or dissociative condition, or another condition where deep relaxation or trance-like states have been advised against, please check with your clinician before using them.
If a session ever feels wrong, tap End. The voice brings you back, and nothing is lost by leaving early.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to create an account. By creating one you confirm this.

What you agree to

You use StayWithMe at your own discretion, and you are responsible for deciding whether a practice is right for you today.
The voice reflects what you say and asks gentle questions. It can be wrong, it can mishear you, and it does not know your history. Treat anything it says as an invitation to notice, never as an instruction to act on.
You won't use the service to harm yourself or others, or try to make the voice do things it isn't built for.
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StayWithMe is not liable for any harm arising from its use or from decisions you make after a session.
We may change or discontinue features. We'll keep this page current.

Your data

How your words and account are handled is in the privacy policy. In short: transcripts are off by default, and you can delete your account and everything in it from Settings at any time.
