How a sit works

You speak what you notice, then pause. After a few seconds of quiet, the voice responds — silence is welcome, and nothing needs to be filled. Tap the circle to speak while it's talking. Mute rests the microphone without ending the sit. End finishes the sit whenever you're ready; nothing is lost by leaving early.

The voice doesn't respond, or the microphone isn't working

• Check the microphone permission under Settings › StayWithMe › Microphone on your iPhone.
• AirPods or headphones work best.
• A quiet room helps the app hear you clearly.
• If it stays stuck, end the sit and begin again.

It says I've practiced a lot today, or this month

There are gentle daily and monthly limits so the service stays available for everyone. They reset the next day, or the next month.

Forgot your password

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and follow the link sent to your email.

Your data

What you say is transcribed and sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to compose a response. Recordings aren't kept. Transcripts are saved only if you switch that on in Settings. Full details are in the privacy policy.

Deleting your account

Settings › Delete account… removes your account and everything tied to it, immediately.
